Irish Trainee Emergency Research Network (ITERN) has been collaborating with the Irish Association of Emergency Medicine (IAEM), the College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland (CAI), Paediatric Emergency Research in the United Kingdom & Ireland (PERUKI) and Trainee Emergency Research Network, UK (TERN) to undertake the “CERA – Covid-19 Emergency Response Assessment Study”.
This study had been approved by both IAEM and CAI.
The primary aim of this study will be to understand the health outcomes of physicians providing emergency care during the COVID-19 outbreak (Emergency Medicine (adult, mixed & paediatric) & Intensive Care Medicine and Anaesthesiology).
Three surveys will be administered, that asks questions at 3 distinct time points – “the acceleration phase“, “the peak phase” and “the deceleration phase“. In other words, this week (Survey 1), in a month (Survey 2) and in around 4-5 months (Survey 3). Once the participant answers the first survey, the other surveys will be automatically sent to them via email.
Complete the survey here: https://chdredcaplive.bris.ac.uk/redcap/surveys/?s=ECLYDNR8TE
Survey 1 will remain open until Sunday April 5th and only takes 4 minutes to complete.
This is a great opportunity to participate in a survey that will shed light on the impact of COVID on us emergency healthcare providers.
